Real Talk/Real Food: Slowing Down To Speed Up

Blurred motion of business people walking at convention centerAre you always “on the run”? Do you answer the question “How are you?” with “Busy. Crazy busy.”? Are you exhausted at the end of each day but feel like you haven’t accomplished anything? There is a solution for you. Take a deep breath and sign up for THIS event!

Real Talk/Real Food provides participants the opportunity for frank discussion in an intimate, safe setting about a predetermined topic that can profoundly affect personal and career aspirations. Experiences are shared, social psychology and biochemistry behind the challenge is explored, and calls to action are declared.

During this July’s discussion over dinner, we’ll dig into the antithetical idea of Slowing Down to Speed Up. A motivated professional’s inclination is that we need to rush and run and pack our days to keep up with life. We feel we must sprint on the fast track in order to “arrive”. But these good intentions often result in adrenal fatigue and burnout. During our discussion, we’ll investigate how time is too precious NOT to slow down. We’ll also verbally untangle our biochemistry, address the sociological psychology of always ‘being busy’, and share strategies to keep pace for a long-distance victory.

Want in on this spirited discussion? It will take place over a healthful meal, home-cooked by DRIVEN founder Deborah Goldstein, and paired with hand-chosen wines. You’ll leave this exclusive Real Talk/Real Food event physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally nourished, complete with a new outlook on the health and career benefits of slowing down!
