The Equinox Will Soon Arrive. That's Your Cue To Thrive!
Last month saw many DRIVEN clients bringing part, and even the whole set, of the DRIVEN to WELLNESS series to their employees. These three virtual interactive workshops have been designed to support motivated professionals reframe their relationships with stress, fortify their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual resilience, and employ daily mindfulness.
Truth be told, never have my life and work better aligned than as a result of the tenets in these workshops. What began as a month of time quickly segued into a month when I’ve needed a HUGE dose of each of these wellness concepts. It’s been a doozie! My dear colleague Lyn pointed out that my self-care habits faithfully carried me through a challenging August. And I’m superlatively grateful for that reflection, as I’d “forced” myself to exercise, meditate and opt for vegetables rather than ice cream on many occasions during this trying time.
But being the ultimate optimist, looking forward, I’m embracing the last weeks of summer (Don’t shortchange the 15 days between now and equinox!) I’m fortifying my spirit by participating in a virtual retreat exploring The Four Agreements. I’m nurturing my mind with creative and meaningful client work. I'm even reframing my morning cranky back as a “small price to pay” for living a great day. And I’ll be anchoring yoga into my daily rituals.
Hopefully the stories of success and “lessons learned” will support you in not only surviving but thriving during this challenging inflection in time. Remember, we can’t change the situation we’re in, but we have total choice when it comes to our response. If you’re stuck here, perhaps the DRIVEN team can help.
