Changing Conversations, Vol 2.

Hi There,

Here’s some exciting news! I’m proud and humbled to be one of 10 co-authors of a special book that’s hot off the press: Changing Conversations for a Changing World, Vol 2. What’s more, my co-authors and I are connected through our beloved community, the C-IQ European Collective— an international group spanning six countries and three continents. Of all the people I aspire to be like, these are the ones I get to spend the most time with (virtually speaking).

This is where YOU come in. Please consider attending our virtual book launch, taking place tomorrow, March 30th!

It’s strange to think that I’ve yet to meet, in-person, some of the folks in this community, and yet, we have such strong relationships. This, I credit partly to our Conversational Intelligence® bond. We embody the practices, protocols and rituals that serve to build trusting relationships, yielding a community of candor and care.

This relates directly to my book chapter. In it, I share a case study of building trust, virtually and quickly during a chilling moment in our recent history, in the days following George Floyd’s murder. It was a frightening proposition, especially since, as I know from my C-IQ training, it’s difficult to build trust when stress is high. My story details how we prepared and primed ourselves for the session, what happened inside the session, and the outcome.

The other nine chapters are case studies as well. Each of my brilliant colleagues offers practical wisdom for how we live within ourselves and our communities. The book begins with lessons learned during Covid lockdown, while the second half offers tools and processes developed during the pandemic to better navigate a new landscape of hybrid work.

Please join us TOMORROW at noon ET, as my guest, to celebrate the arrival of our second volume of compelling case studies. You’ll briefly meet each author and come away with 10 nuggets to help you ease into the “AC” era (After Covid).

There are 3 ways to join. Here are the links:

And if you'd like to interact fully, sign up and sign in to Howspace, our virtual platform partner. This will appeal to you, especially if your team will continue to conduct hybrid meetings in the future.
Hope to "see you" tomorrow!

Cheers!
