Energy Flows to Where Attention Goes.
Hi There,
Clearly, there is a lot of fear, suffering, inconvenience, anger and anxiety in the air right now. While we can’t prevent these very real emotions from chipping away at our resilience, we can choose (especially this week) to be thankful for the positive things we have.
I invite you to join me on an appreciation crusade to boost your spiritual energy and focus on the encouraging aspects of our lives in this moment. Not only am I journaling about who I am grateful for this week, I’m finding fun ways to show them. To play along:
1. Take five minutes to briefly express your appreciation for one or more loved ones in handwriting. Then, strategically place the greeting card, piece of paper or sticky note for them to discover. Watch their delight as they find and read it. Or mail the message(s) to them, even if they live under your roof.
2. Notice something that a loved one always does for you and express verbal appreciation for it.
3. Read the DRIVEN blog article that I’m most proud of and think about what you can do to acknowledge your own good fortune this week.
This holiday season, despite the pandemic dangers and the tough choices to be made, you can still take the opportunity to make your day (and someone else’s) a delight. For instance, rather than enduring the usual Black Friday freak-out where you end up acquiring another hodgepodge of predictable, uncreative holiday gifts, why not give your colleagues and loved ones the ultimate experience instead? It’s the gift of time, clarity, focus and fulfillment, with the benefit of more energy and engagement for decades to come. The 12-module Intentional Productivity (IP:12 for short), which is DRIVEN’s new virtual e-course, now features a convenient gift option, with a sweet 18% discount when you purchase it as a gift! Link to the option HERE.
Here’s to a safe, healthy, and spiritually uplifting Thanksgiving for you and your family!
Cheers!
-Deborah
