The Magic of Mindfulness.
Hi There,
With content creation on hiatus for a couple of weeks, I’m coming to you today with some of my weekly messages from the relatively recent past, thereby presenting you with a retrospective glimpse at some of DRIVEN’s more engaging offerings. This week, let's explore the topic of Mindfulness.
When it comes to Mindfulness, the tough part is the act of coming to the present, as many of us struggle to keep pace with the corporate hamster wheel. We are perpetually rushing from what we’ve finished to what’s next. Sadly, the present often evades our attention. In my message from September 28, 2021, I laid out for readers some "MOMs" (Moments of Mindfulness) to help professionals reframe the amount of time and energy it takes to become truly mindful:
Moments of Mindfulness….They’re Quick, Effective & Free!
Jumping forward to a Mindfulness exercise from September 27, 2022, I invited readers to incorporate all of your senses into seemingly mundane activities, as fulfillment can indeed be found in the most ordinary places. On this day, I offered a succulent and juicy strategy to bring yourself to the present, via the consumption of a perfectly ripe cantaloupe. After re-reading this, you’ll want to fetch your very own in-season specimen from the market, straight away:
Of Mindfulness and Melons: Finding Fulfillment in the Most Ordinary Places.
Finally, as an invitation to you to find meaning, satisfaction and even beauty in your everyday activities, I took the reader through what seemed like a wonderous and poetic journey on October 25, 2022. In reality, it described only a 10-minute segment of a peaceful autumn morning, demonstrating how Mindfulness grants us the opportunity to turn small wonders into extraordinary experiences:
A Matter of Mindfulness: Noticing Daily Delights Hidden in Plain Sight.
Cheers!
